In daily life, I have come across people who might not say it but their attitude and behaviour shows that they strongly believe in the saying “Money can buy everything”.
I agree with the following by Arne Garborg:
It is said that with money you can buy everything, but you cannot!
You can buy:
food, but not appetite;
medicine but NOT health;
Knowledge, but NOT wisdom;
Glitter, but NOT beauty;
Fun, but NOT joy;
Aquaintance, but NOT friends;
Leisure, but NOT peace;
You can buy husk of everything for money but NOT the kernel.
Money can increase the likelihood that you would be healthier, happier, wiser, more attractive,
Money is but a tool, it can give you access to better healthcare, better education, better lifestyle, better nutrition...in the end results are out of your hands, you can be richest person in the world and be diagnosed with some rare disease..and yu wont be able to do jack, but in vast majority of cases, financial wellbeing may have a positive impact on all the factors posted above. no guarantees of course..

.... and hypothetically speaking, without any money, your chances of getting any of the above increase or decrease?
No one is naive enough to suggest that money can buy everything. However, having money is just one less problem to worry about.
Money is a car....use it to get to your destination...whatever that may be. As you cannot keep driving all the time...you cannot simply keep gathering money all time.
Money cannot buy everything but is an important thing.
God has put a restriction on how much we can consume. This restriction has not changed for millenia and is not going to change till there is life on this planet and this restriction is independent of faith. On the other hand there is no limit on hoarding because it is man made.
Money is not bad, one needs it for a decent lifestyle although definition of decent lifestyle varies from one person to another. e.g some aspire to have diamond studded inner wear.
Work hard to earn an honest dollar but never with the intention of hoarding.
Don't forget to make a positive difference in the lives of people around you either by donating to NGO's and/or sponsoring the study of child either in your family or in community or in neighbourhood or in a slum dwelling.
Believe in the pyramid of help..you help two persons to grow and they help two persons each...it grows in geometric proportion. There is no better act of good lifemanship than a pyramid of help.

Money can't buy "everything"!
Sensual pleasure or sense gratification have become the ONLY criteria in modern time for human to judge happiness or state of being "happy". Hence money has become the most important as it is the medium through which Human being thinks can satisfy their senses!
