I am making a personal website and I was wondering if I can use some of the GS smilies on my website?

Its a personal website and I just think some of the smilies are cool so I can use them there. I am a programmer myself though and understand if whoever made them does not want them to be used by someone else so I thought I’d ask for permission before using them…
