US government says no.
A college student claimed it was all a joke when he put his vote in this fall’s presidential election up for sale on the Web auction site eBay. But prosecutors didn’t see the humor.
Sanders was charged with one count of bribery, treating and soliciting under an 1893 state law that makes it a crime to offer to buy or sell a vote.
Read the article and give your opinion about the morality of selling your vote. Also about since this guy is just 19 and still a teenager and naive should he be let go with a slap on the wrist ?

No it was taken offline by eBay and reported to authorities.

Crime would have been completed if someone would have actually bought it :D

This is half a crime. He should be punihsed but not as harsh as if he has committed it.

I would prolly expect this from a high schooler but a college student should know a little better than this.
