[qPuote=Faris Udeen;6415691]I'm on this seriously intense routine since 2006.
I do it to keep my wieght down and also to increase my stamina to ridiculously high levels. I'll warn you that most of it is to help me remain a top fighter but the running or cycling should help you lose wieght best Insh-Allah.
Morning
5.00am 10 km run. (you can cycle this didtance if you want to but it's better to run it)
I have a lake near my home which is exactly a mile in circumference, i do 8 laps round the lake, starting at a steady trot and building up to a faster jogging speed. There is an area which is about three hundred yards uphill and here i try and sprint the distance. i'd recomend you take it easy at first and start with 2-3 laps for a week then build upwards.
7.00am return from run and take up 5 three minute rounds of shadow-boxing. I usually shadow-box or sparr with friends in the gym near where i live.
7.45am return home have a shower. (you will need to after that run!) Read namaaz then race to catch the college bus.
Afternoon
5.00pm hit the gym and train with the mates in the ring.
6.00pm go back to the lake and do 3 laps as fast as i can, this will completely tire me out but i will sleep well if i hit the bed early and wake up refreshed.
8.00pm have one last round of sparring or weapons practice at home in the yard before getting supper and hitting the bed at half past nine.
Now i understand you'll look at that and think sheesh this guys nutts. I admit i probably am but this is my routine and i don't expect you to be able to do it all in just two months. But if it helps it gives you an idea of how to achieve the most. I used to wiegh twelve stone myself but i'm 6ft 2ins. I now wiegh 9 stone! Running hard out will probably help you most.
I know it's hard and incredibly boring at first but it helps to find a friend/friends who will go along with you. I sometimes go alone but i take my walkman so i can listen to Aziz Mian quwallis while pushing myself.
you say you wiegh 13 stone? That's not bad actually, but since you want to be fit for your wedding let me tell you i had an old Army friend who i met here in England and he wieghed 23 stone! now thats huge. I helped him get down to 14 (he's a big guy anyway though) now he's a fine wrestler, i hope you will find that running will help you best.
If you really put your heart to it brother then i reckon you have plenty of time, If you work off as much fat as you can in the first 1 or 1 and a half months. then you can train in the second half to gain muscle. As you may well have heard it's easier to convert fat to muscle, so if you have the determination you can lose some fat and put on muscle. Note muscle will make you heavier but anyone would rather be a 13 stone muscelman than a 13 stone fatty?
Personally the reason why i'm always trying to keep myself stupidly skinny is so that i'm not slowed down by bulky muscel but then i'm a nasty fighter, not an ideal husband, if you try and work along some of my lines Insha-Allah no woman in her right mind should object to you.
PS: brother if you want any more specific help just drop me a pm i'd be glad to help in anyway you want. besides there are some things i might tell you that are not for everyones else's ears.
Oh and good luck mate, hope you have fun whatever you do.
Oh and all the best with the wedding preparations, let me know how you do.
