Money to masjid and madarsa from my salary as a banker ? Would it benefit me in any way ?
Can a gas station owner donate for religious cause , although he sells alcohol and pork sandwiches at his gas station ?
If the whole community including the majlis a shura and imam of the masjid know what kind of source of income this person has , should they still accept the money ?
I know about Sir Syed and donation by a tawaif for Aligarh University ,so please do not repeat that story while posting your replies.

-yes cuz you live in society where everything is interest based
-varies from situation to situation (if muslim), yes (if Christian)
-why not...ALLAH SWT knows about the pureness of your intention, so if someone asks for forgiveness from their heart and donate money in the name of ALLAH SWT, then why not?

thats up to Allah whether He accepts it or not....
but if u go with the hadith "inna Allah tayyab la yaqbilu illa tayyeb" then it depends on whether u consider interest money as tayyeb or not....
إن الله طيب لا يقبل إلا طيبا hadith from sahih muslim....
