i know i can book the pram for free, but what about other stuff like highchairs etc, stuff thats too big for suitcase…or too heavy. i prefer booking the highchair in…even for a cost…its qatar airlines…

Why do you want to take the high chair. Buy a booster seat for dining chairs. I think you are in UK. That should not cost you more than few pounds.

because i already have the hugh chair..its pretty much brand new, my eldest only sat in it few months, now my youngest canuse it when shes 6months plus

Its gonna cost you more to take the high chair than to buy a booster seat. Booster seat can fit inside a big bag and you can check it in as regular luggage.
But having said that, it could cost you up to $40.00 depends upon the airline.

if you are taking your high chair and plan to check it in as checked baggage, there will be a checked baggage fee, unless it fits into your 2 suitcases per person requirement (or whatever qatar has). check their website to see what the additional checked baggage fee is.

Is it possible to check in a car seat? I checked the Delta website and they mentioned you can check in the stroller and the child restraint seat for free. They must be referring to the car seat right? I called them but their phone service is terrible.

^ you can check it in but i think its best to put it in a carton with proper padding. luggage gets tossed around so much- i'd be afraid it would arrive damaged or broken otherwise. but if your under 2 has his/her own seat, then most airlines require your kid to be strapped into the car seat while on board in which case you obvs wouldn't be checking it in.

if you have a seat, you will be charged the child ticket fee, so even if child is actuallyan infant, ul get charged child ticket prices,...which is why i didnt take car seat with me and just booked the pram for free.
