The answer is a general one, so it applies to all sexes and all religions.

If a muslim and non-muslim want to get married, the non-muslim has to willingly convert to Islam before marrying.

If you are muslim and you want to marry a non-muslim who doesnt want to convert to Islam, you are allowed to leave Islam and choose whatever other faith you like. In Islam you cannot have a muslim/non-muslim couple.

Like it says in the Quran, there is no compulsion in religion. Everyone has the right to choose whatever religion they want. Nobody is allowed to harm you if you leave Islam (God will deal with you later).

So gauravjassal, to answer your question, the hindu boy will have to become muslim before he can marry the muslim girl. India/Pak doesnt matter. **If he doesnt want to convert to Islam, then the muslim girl may become hindu if she wants. **By law she has the right to leave Islam and nobody has the right to harm her if she does. If even after marriage the boy is hindu, then according to Islam that marriage is void. Same goes for hindu girl and muslim boy.
