Hi I am a working woman and I have to wear makeup daily. I just wanted to know that is it OK to wear foundation daily? If not, then what other options do I have?

Tinted moisturizer. Is it required by your employer that you wear makeup; is it a rule? If not, then try to keep your skin healthy by drinking plenty of water, eating healthy, getting exercise,sufficient sleep. That way you'll be less dependent on foundation and eyeliner/mascara n lipstick/gloss will suffice.

BB creams, tinted moisturizers or just use a lighter layer of it.

Look for a foundation that says "non-comedogenic" or "hypoallergenic" on the bottle so that you are not making yourself acne-prone.

If time management becomes an issue in the mornings, get an Airflash/spray type of foundation for e.g Dior is pretty good....I know Guerlain makes one too from their terracotta line, but haven't used that one.
I used to wear my dior one to work everyday, and It was pretty quick takes about a min and just blend with your fingers, I find nothing wrong with wearing foundation everyday, if you take care of your skin and take makeup off at the end of the day.....I don't see why not.

If you're lucky with clear skin then tinted moisturizers are awesome and if you're like me and have acne prone skin then medium coverage foundations are good for everyday use. But you have to pay extra attention on skin care
There's no harm in using foundation daily unless you don't remove your makeup =/

Perfectly fine to apply foundation everyday as long as your remove it every evening and have a good skin care routine

Try Chanel's Vitalumere. It's super light, does't give that cakey look, takes a minute to put it on and just perfect for work.

I'd also recommend BB cream but if you do wear foundation every day, I'd use one that's light for regular/work use and then have another full coverage for going out and parties, etc.

why hasn't any suggested mineral foundation?
My skin is not clear enough to use a tinted moisturiser or BB cream, and I wear make up almost every day. Was actually using MAC full coverage every day cus that's the only one I had hahaa... but not I bought a mineral one and I like it

Products are products. Tinted moisturiser, foundation, it's all the same!
I think you just need to have a good skincare routine and make sure you remove and cleanse your skin properly.
My skin actually starts getting more rough looking (pimples etc) when I'm not wearing makeup for a few days coz I keep touching my face.

If your skin is clear and you can get away with the 'no make-up' look then just use concealer to hide any imperfections (if you have any) or a BB cream (Muniya, a BB cream is a Beauty Balm that is usually oil-free and tinted and actually great for your skin.) If you use a good quality foundation, it's safe to be used every day as long as you remove your make-up and maintain a good skincare regime.

Using foundation everyday should not be any problem, I work at Sephora, and also I wear foundation everyday. Just make sure to cleanse your skin first, prep it with a moisturizer, then apply a primer, then apply your makeup. Make sure to cleanse it off at night or in the evening, use any treatments you'd like, then moisturize. You should be absolutely fine.
