my mum is diabetic she still keeps rozey, however my aunt is also diabetic and she doesnt. is diabetes in the list of diseases that people are exempt from fasting, or is it not.

People sufering from diabetes are advised not to fast most of the time. A hypo can cause tremendous problems while you are fasting. I suffer from diabetes and tried for three years after I got diabetc to fast but found my sugar levels used to go very high. In the end the doctor advised me not to fast. I send money to needy person for fasting. May Allah have mercy on all of us. I would love to fast but tend to get hypo's now a days so cannot fast.

I do fast, unless I am traveling that day. I think its depend on how controlled is your diabetes. If its border line with a decent amount of sahoor and aftari than one can manage it. But if you have to stuff yourselve to survive till sunset that will result in high sugar than, you should not.
At one stage diabetic ppl have to give up fasting.
