At some level, it should exist outside our body for us to resurrect. Maybe consciousness is a software and we are the hardware. Consciousness is sitting somewhere in a cloud and gets downloaded when a compatible hardware is available. Maybe the concept of reincarnation in Hinduism is nothing but the same software gets loaded into a hardware; hardware expires; software gets uploaded to the cloud; sits there and wait for the new compatible hardware to be available; … well you know what I am trying to say here. That software always retains the memory from previous download. That is why people claim to be reborn and they remember where they lived in previous life and what not..

Seems my one had some drivers missing.
