Can-can under bridal lehenga?

Did anyone wear a can-can dress thingy under their bridal lehenga to give it a nice fall?

I’m interesting in buying one or getting it made but I’m not sure where to buy/get it made from?

Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Can-can under bridal lehenga?

can-can won't give you "fall", it'll give you lots of volume though. like a ballgown. think scarlett o'hara when done on a grand scale. the right fabric for your lehenga/gharara bottom should give you fall.

Re: Can-can under bridal lehenga?

Ya I want a little volume...but not too much like a ballgown. I was thinking I could get a customized can-can made with just the right amount of volume I want...

My lehenga material is chiffon...because it is a light weight fabric....I was thinking a can-can would help.

you know what, go to a bridal dress shop for white wedding dresses, and try on one of theirs. i think they have different levels of volume... i went to a friend's dress fitting last week and she was able to try on a couple of different ones to see how her dress looked.

Ya I'll just go to a white dress shop. Thanks sgc!

Candy-Apple, they're called slips or petticoats here. If you don't find any, let me know. We use them at the magazine all the time so I can probably procure one for you if needed.

^ ooh, what mag do you work at?

Re: Can-can under bridal lehenga?

I've had one made to go under my valima outfit as it's a fishtail, so it fans the bottom out beautifully.

The subsidiary I work for is called U magazine, but it's in the Elle family.
