Amazing , he joined police in 82 in Zia era , remained very active in operation against MQM from 92 to 2000
Than he was given facility to live outside Sindh to be safe , Only he and Sarwar Commando remained alive , rest more than 200 police officers were killed in Mush era who part of this operation including my friend Bahadar Shah .

The Supreme Court on Tuesday, during the Naqeebullah Mehsud extra-judicial killing case hearing, granted protective bail to Rao Anwar and directed the former Malir senior superintendent police (SSP) to appear in court on Friday.

Unfortunately CJP can not touch 12 Jamaat pass who are now savior of Rao Anwar. Agencies used him to get rid of number of people who were vanished and there whereabouts are still unknown.
