Re: Can anyone translate it into Urdu or English??

Shaikh Ayaz's Sindhi is quite tough, let me have a try. The line that is repeated again and again is : Koi Ke'yan karay (Koi kiya karay)

Ishq daaman main khushiyan samete jab samnay aae, to kiya karen
Mehbbob jab safaid motiye ki tarah muskrae, to kiya karen

Laali unke chehre per jab cha jae, to kiya karen (Shaikh ayaz compared the expressions of hapiness with redness of pomegranate & fire)
Palken aise unki jhuken jaise sehra main shab dhal jae, to kiya karen

Juda tumse hokay kaise jiyen, tere bin raha na jae, to kiya karen.

PS: Transalation of poetry from one language to another is just like a literary murder.

Re: Can anyone translate it into Urdu or English??

You should listen their whole album… they mostly sing Sindhi folk songs… and they are too good… IMO they do justice with the poetry… and kalams.

Re: Can anyone translate it into Urdu or English??

I'm still under the spell of this song. Have heard it today for 3-4 times. Will definitely listen to other songs to.
