What are the good places, which should be visited in Lahore. This is for the first time in my life that I am visiting Lahore city on an official tour. Someone from Lahore can guide me about the landmarks, restaurants, shopping spots etc.
If I can get guidance from anyone of you that what shall I buy as a gift for my fiancée back in Islamabad, that would be great. Thanks in advance for your valuable time and sincere suggestions.

many places to eat but one i and many others will recommend is cuckoo's cafe in the old city - eat during the day and the night to get views across lahore city at both day and night.
places to visit badshahi mosque, the sikh temple next to it i forgot the name, lahore fort, waxzir khan mosque, shalimar gardens, jinnah gardens aka lawrence gardens, shahdara tomb complex, soneri masjid, race course park just off the top of my head

Lahore is famous for cultural places and spicy foods all over the world. I recommend you to visit Lahore Fort, Minar e Pakistan and Badshahi Mosque. Near to these places one of my favourite eating place is Cooco’s Den which is famous for Chicken Karachi and spicy food , the best thing seating is at roof top which makes surrounding so bright and beautiful and giving full view of Lahore City. You can get up to 50% if you buy Chicken Karahi deal from Groupin.pk new group buying site in Pakistan and I also purchased two coupons for myself because one coupon serving meal is enough for 3 people and we were group of Six.

Lahore is an AmaZinnnnnnnnnnnnnG place! You will find loads to do it here but we can suggest you better depending on your preferences and likes.
Anyhow, don't forget to checkout the yummy Jalebis by Garato! :D The food here is just too good and you will find all kinds of varities ranging from desi karahis nihariz payaz to thai chinese italian and what not. Shopping is great too for both casual and formal wear.
