In days gone by the shop keepers in Pakistan and India will give some kind of treat to the kids who would go to buy stuff from their shops.
It was an incentive for kids to go back to same shop again and again in quest for that choonga.
I do not know if it an Urdu/ Hindi or Punjabi word though.
