Can a single person bring a change in society
well dear HPians.. i want to discuss something with u…
yesterday when i was going to sleep, i was a lil depressed with the condition of our country still after 50 years.. i was searching for the reasons which havent let our country progress and which have left our ppl crying and our youth dying and our waderas and plticians enjoying…there were many reason but the ultimate reason was that there isn’t ne awareness in our society abt nething..we dont have ne awareness of education, we dont have ne awareness of our responsibilities, no awareness abt wt is “ethics”, no awareness abt social values, no awareness abt future planning.. just nothing.. we are living just for ourselves without caring for wt wud happen to us after 50 yrs, wt wud happen to our next generation..wt we are going to give to our next generation other than corruption, illetracy and fazooliat..
one question was going through my mind again and again that wt i can do in this situation.. is there nething i can do and this led me to one question “can a SINGLE person do something for the society… can a single person bring awareness in the society?”
the next day i was surfing the net when i found something abt personalities that change the society with thier great IDEAS single handedly.
Muhammad(PBUH) change the worse society of MAKKAH and MAdina with ALLAH’s Bestowed ideas. All messangers single handedly fight for change in society and try to make a group of the ppl sharing the same thoughts. I rejected this idea cuz i thought we can never be like Prophets. so we cant bring change in society..
then i found some other personalities in Pakistan who start with little investment and now they have very good network to help others.

Do remember that i never worship personalities bcz no one is perfect except Allah alimighty and messangers of Allah but i do worship their gud work. after getting to know abt edhi’s work, i thought yes a single person can bring a change in the society. I appreciated the persons who r making change or trying to bring a change in the society with thier hard work and new ideas. above is the one example … we will get to know lot of examples when we will look for them..

“From a young age his mother taught Edhi to be kind towards others and to help the poor. In 1947 the family migrated to Pakistan and settled in Karachi. That was a time of great emotional trauma and social and political upheaval. Edhi became involved in social work and began working with welfare organisations and soon started his own dispensary, providing medical aid to the poor. He bought his first ambulance, an old van which he called the “poor man’s van” and went around the city providing medical help and burying unclaimed bodies. His van became his advertisement and soon he came to be known for his work with the poor. As a consequence, donations started pouring in and his operations expanded, employing additional nurses and staff. It was here that Edhi met his wife Bilquees who was a trainee nurse at the dispensary. They were married in 1966. Bilquees became the ideal wife for Edhi, totally committed to welfare work.”

So a small which we keep on ignoring in our daily routine due to our lack of confidence, might have brought the change in the society..
So wt i wanted to say was always think for new and new ideas to bring the change in the society.. dont care for the result, dont care for the resources, dont care for the effectiveness of the idea and dont worry from its complications.. Just think for a gud idea that might bring a change..if one Edhi can bring a gud change
so in ur extra time, do think abt some gud idea…
May Allah give us wisdom for thinking new ideas and give us courage to implement them.Ameen
