Hmmm just a random thought which i want to see your views on, do u think its fine for a girl to be taller then her man or do you prefer the traditional way a guy should be tall and the girl shorter…please reply and give reasons in why you believe what you do thanks in advance

I'd be okay with the girl being my height(not taller). But let's be realistic, where am i going to find a desi girl my height, especially a girl willing to marry someone her own height. Because every girl wants someone taller.

I wouldn't mind if my bf/husband was shorter than me. I'll be more concerned if he was overweight or not.
Btw people usually seek out people who are similar to them. Its rare to see a really short person with a really tall person right?

It depends on the guy, but I wouldn't have married a guy much shorter than me. I had to make concession since finding a guy taller than me would have ruled out a lot of Pakistani male population.

Yes a girl can be taller than her husband. Let's face it, after a girl puffs her hair up high, wears her 4 inch (or 5 inch even) heels and sticks some jewellery on top of her head, she's probly a head taller than him anyway.

One of my friends was very short than his wife. Almost 6-7 inches short. He was around 5 feet. He passed away couple of years back and left three kids behind. It was shocking and sudden death in such a young age.

No, it's not allowed. Very very haraam. It is also I believe the Very first requirement listed in the "How to be a good desi wife" handbook. It is also recommended that if your husband is a bit shorter or the same height as you that you throw away all your high heeled shoes, never even look at another pair of high heeled shoes again with desire (as it will nullify your nikah), never poof up your hair and startch hunching when you walk. Sure, you might end up like the hunchback of notredame in your old age. But who cares? This is the only way to attain a place in heaven.

I just went to a wedding where husband was about an inch shorter.
I don't think it mattered to her at all.
