Cameron and his views on immigration

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

how about the world?

Definitely need tighter immigration controls, and I would go as far as saying tighter controls were needed as far back as the 80s. The issue I had was with this sentence..not with the need for controls

Not sure where people get this whole snobby nature...what place has handled immigrants better? especially those that are fairly different from local population in terms of race, religion, ethnicity.. France? Australia? Pakistan? India? switzerland?

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

See below:

This.

The double standards piss me off! Cameron beta will moan and groan at the idea of KSA making all foreign women “integrate” into the society by having them wear abayas in public… his retarded theories will go out the door then. And yes, I’m comparing UK/EU to KSA, it really is heading that way in terms of restrictions on immigrants. Hence my decision to elope to the land of far far away with my prince charming at first opportunity. :chai:

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

Cameron can go choke on a pretzel

I’ll bite, troll.

How have the Pakistanis and what not imposed their culture on the British? Last time I checked they loved the Curry.

And it was the British Empire that was pissing on us Brownies. Now we’re coming back to get you lot. Karma and such like.

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

well if given the chance - we would love to !

there is a fair section in British Desi population who wants their sad and sick rituals/customs to be a part of British culture in the name of religious/moral freedom

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

I don't see why anyone should have to give up their culture/religion in a new country. What sad and sick rituals/customs are we talking about though?

You are required to abide by the Laws and not the culture/tradition of your new country 'eh. I think this is where the USA has got it right, for the most part anyway.

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

ya wahhh? :khums:

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

Yup one shouldn't be - but just because you want to play in your house with different set of the rules , you cant apply them to every body else living out there ...

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

You never been around Muslim converts?

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

arghh - c’mon you know what I am talking about !

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

nup :D enlighten me.

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

I don't remember seeing Desis try and apply their rules to everybody around them. Give us some line and we'll bite.

I have, I don't know what you're talking about. And most reverts are aligned with the Arab culture rather than Desi culture. We're about as different as it gets.

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

Was talking about people who still think they are living in some rural parts of Pakistan - plus the zealous lot , who wants to Islamize every thing within their reach ..

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

Canada :@:

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

lol amazing how 97% of the british non-muslim population feels so threatened by the mere 3% of brit muslims!

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

indeed, it has, part of it due to type of immigrants in terms of education and background, but that has been changing.
ask new immigrants job searching there.

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

well gora is a texan i think, so it dunn matter.

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

That’s what I was getting at, but somehow bringing that up would make me “Islamophobic” now

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

if you ascribe that to british muslims in general or brit-paks in general on purpose than that impression may have some validity

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

Lol, I was expecting more… Oh well.

Prince charming. You’ll find loads in KSA. There are like 2000 princes there apparently.

Re: Cameron and his views on immigration

Again if they're not stepping on any toes and their culture/customs are legal, I don't see a problem. I have yet to see a specific objection anyone has.

Give us an example will you of what suffering you've been through at the hands of such people?

And the Mormons come a preaching don't they? What do you do? You start a movement against them or shut the door and laugh about it? Live and let live.

Laws are important, not Culture/Tradition.
