Camera problem..

Anytime I ry to take pictures wiht the self timer, they come out blurry… I have a sony W100..is there any raeson for this? someone suggested i change the ISO and i did, but it still keeps doing that.. I duno y they come out blurry, i’m perfectly still but it still does that.. its kinda frustrating now.. :o

Re: Camera problem..

wht is it set on

Re: Camera problem..

wat do u mean wat set?

Re: Camera problem..

don't move when its taking the picture.

Re: Camera problem..

the shutter release might be giving a slight jerk when it clicks. Try jamming it in between items, like a book or something. Or maybe invest in a tri-pod.

Re: Camera problem..

I DON’T move when I take the picture

Tofi, ill try that…

Re: Camera problem..

Is the flash on or off when you are taking the pics??

If the flash is off then the shutter speed is slow
The camera needs to be on a perfectly still place when taking pics, if it moves even slightly the pic will come out blurry.

Try takint the pics with flash other then that i cant think of why they'd come out blurry

Re: Camera problem..

heheh.. your Autofocus option must be disabled or there must be distance level set on self timer for Autofocus. If not, then sorry get another better Autofocus Camera or Cybershot mobile with autofocus like mine Sony Ericsson K800 but dont forget to give your Camera to me as a gift if you get Mobile :clown:

Re: Camera problem..

Cybershots rule.

I have one myself :clown:
And I love it to death.

Re: Camera problem..

i like my sony :clown:

Re: Camera problem..

They just rule the owners :p

Re: Camera problem..

although i dun understand why the autofocus wont work just when the picture is being taken with the self timer and work when its being taken normally

get it??

Re: Camera problem..

But then also depends on whether you are doing it the right way or not

when you turn on the self timer and place the camera on a still surface, do you press the button long enough focussing on a stationary object for it to focus before running over to the same spot and wait for it to click??

Re: Camera problem..

Sara, munna, what did I tell you ? Search for ISO values and set it on 200 or 400 :o
The other option you can try is changing the shutter speed! set it a bit higher. Or try to put the camera in sports mode.
If its still not working, throw it away :p

Re: Camera problem..

Dp I did change the ISO and STILL came out that way :aj:

So…try in sports mode..change shutter speed..press the button long enough to focus on stationary object

Re: Camera problem..

first try what I told you :hehe: What LB is telling you might work, but only on still objects

Re: Camera problem..

^ its not bout still objects.

The still object is used to focus, if you've used it on self timer, you will notice that when the focus is on everything that is moving will actually appear to move in slow motion on the lcd screen.

Ive had too much experience with focussing on moving objects after taking shots of my fishies and loaches.
