Camelot (Pencil Drawing)

Just a quick doodle…actually it took quite some time.

A small contribution.

Peace

Re: Camelot (Pencil Drawing)

Re: Camelot (Pencil Drawing)

Re: Camelot (Pencil Drawing)

Wow. Really nice. I am amazed. Yet another hidden talent discovered :k:

Allow me to add some words about the drawing if I may :hmmm:

The sunshine (mercy of Allah) is everywhere we go. The sun (mercy) does not set but rather dissappears for awhile to test us. When we are in need and realise our mistake, the sun (mercy of Allah) rises again. And not once, not twice but many times. In the drawing you gave, the sunshine can be seen everywhere and the color of paper just indicates how much Merciful Allah really is. You can hide in castle all you want, but when Allah decide to be merciful to someone, Allah will be merciful regardless of how the person is and if Allah decides to punish someone, that person will be punished regardless of how good they are :hmmm:

Peace All

JazakAllah Khair for the nice comments ... I can only say that I will have a hard time humbling myself now ...

Brother Hum_Hain_Lajawab
That is really good and your words are an inspiration. MashaAllah.

Sister zobia
I believe those look like crucifxes but they ae actually orifices designed to allow archers to fire their arrows at enemies without being hit themselves. The vertical line allows the bow to come through and the horizontal lines are for the right or left handed archers in one.

You know what I find water the hardest thing to make by pencil, it is easier with acrylics and even with oils.

Khumar, pinks and Dushwari
Speechless ... oh shuks

Sister hin33
Hours yes ... I didn't know it was going to take so long. Crunchy ... That is such a befitting euphemism.

I was concerned how it was going to end up ... but from your feedback I guess it was okay ... Thanks all for your comments.

Re: Camelot (Pencil Drawing)

Some details you might want to know:

There are four people in the picture and two horses. Can you find them?

The butresses to the outer wall of the front of the castle (right hand side) are pentangular rather than square.

The darkest feature is the brown thatched entrance at the top of the main tower where underwhich the drawbridge should be, but it cannot be seen in the picture.

For the white I used chalk and the more prominent white I used Calcium Hydroxide (Chunna used in Paan)

Re: Camelot (Pencil Drawing)

i found the poeple.

two on horses and two on the roof of far left of the castle.. are they dancing or just did they just see the enemies

Waisey … there is no straight line on the paper, perhaps you were being sarcastic?
