Camel Milk

Okay someone gave us 2 liters of camel milk and I dont know what to do with it.
I just dont like the idea of drinking that milk, because I have never tasted it before nor I want to. I have problems drinking even the cow milk, camel’s is out of question. However if I make something out of it, I think I will be able to consume it that way.

So if there’s anyone who knows of anything that I should do with that milk before it goes bad, it will be of great help.

I am thinking of making rabree out of it, but I read on internet that it isnt rich in cream as the cow milk, so I am not sure if that’ll be a good idea.

Just for the information for those who dont know much about camel milk, its 3 times richer in Iron, Vitamins than cows milk, much less in fat. It lacks milk protiens so its easier to digest and doesnt cause allergies.

So yeah its a healthier option than cow’s milk, but I just cant drink it. :bummer:

Re: Camel Milk

hmm camal,s milk its great gift someone gave u,Sadaf i only know that its much healthier than cows milk but not more about it,but i think if u will use it in some sweet it will better, rubri is agood idea,or kheer etc. so go with it.

Re: Camel Milk

Sadaf I don't know anything about camel milk except that its salty in taste.
But i think it should be good for kheer etc. as some ppl do add salt in kheer waghaira too....but again it depends on how salty this milk is.

Ask the person who gave you this gift....or may be check out the Arab cooking sites

Re: Camel Milk
