Is there any long distance service you use that you recommend being used to make calls to Pakistan from Canada?

I am trying to find a good service for my parents.

skype is definately good...its totally freeeee and u can see each others faces x

Skype - and just skype , if you are calling from abroad - otherwise ask them to make the effort - it is really economical for some one calling from Pakistan to US and canada landline /mobiles -

we use a company called Call Select. Works without a hitch. Rates are currently 6 cents a minute. They also give a credit based on the amount of use and apply it to your account every six months or so. I can post their customer service number if you're interested.

p.s. they also provide you a number, which when called from your cell phone, allows you to make calls just as if you were calling from your home phone.
