Some friend of mine told me that his maulana told him that if one has the niyat of calling a jinn can do so by reciting surah-e-jinn 51 or something times..is it true? my maulvi saab once told me that its not that easy to call a jinn - one has to go to a graveyard for fourty nights and make a circle ( protection circle) and sit inside it and pray every night..while praying inside the circle the jinns come during that process and try to scare the person by showing him the most disturbing and scary sights and if the person stops praying and steps outside the circle he can get killed there and then…but if they dont get scared and stay inside the cirlce line they can possess the jinn for as long as they want. I was just talking to my mother about what can be the consequences of calling or trying to possess the jinn and all this came up - does anyone have the accurate knowledge about this? if reciting the surah can summon a jinn the what can be the consequences? my mother said only the good/muslim jinns come by reciting this surah…i know they (jinns) can harm us but how can they be of use to humans? I am just so curious to know, can anyone help please.:halo:
and one last thing, someone told me that the ghosts have locks on their mouth or maybe they just can’t say anything - because Allah doesnt want them to tell us or something like that about where they are and all…because many people say that the ghosts of the dead relatives do try to contact their families and all..please help and correct me if someone has given me the incorrect information..
You've got wrong information from molvi saab and someone who told you about ghosts.
There is no proof in Quran or hadith that we can summon jinns in any way.
^^....wat is black magic then..... twisting and mingling verses.... right?? quran doesnt tell you the recipie of magic neither does hadith...but it exist.... same can be applied for capturing jins too.
Yes, black magic is exist, and we know it through Quran and ahadith that it exists.
Quran and hadith also tell us to recite surah akhlas, surah falaq, and surah naas to avoid or end the affects of black magic.
I dont know about twisting and mingling the words of God, as i havent come across any ayah or hadith that talks about matars.
your not getting my point....... okay let me put it this way.... does quran or hadith tells you how to make black magic work or the specific code or surah to make it effective...... No it doesnt does quran tells you how to capture jinns.... i dont think so.... but it has Ayat ul qursi and other surahs u mentioned...... to protect our selves from jinn .... i wonder why?
We dont need to do anything to call jinns, they already live with us. They cant give us any harm or benefit either.
We read duas so that they cant see us, while we take shower etc.
yes it is very tru about using the specific Ayat but dont try it i know alot about it so leave it and trust me u dont want to summon a jinn if you are weak then it will take over your body so plz dont try it...
Oh no why would i try it - i cant even talk about jinns at night - i just want to know what the truth is. The molvi saab i dont think was wrong about capturing the jinns because so many pious people have jinns working for them and all.
I've met someone who claims to have some jinns working with her. Its all up in the air honestly. Its possible, but anything is possible.
I don't know what the deal is with circles though. On a recent travelling trip I was on, I witnessed a little girl getting possessed with my own two eyes. The witch doctor had made a circular design on the floor with some sort of sandy substance. Crazy stuff, but something did possess the little girl. She was undergoing convulsions.
Its also possible that she induced her own convulsions. Power of belief, and all.
It was in a different culture, so maybe there is some common belief about drawing circles on the ground and sitting in them. Or maybe some quack in Pakistan heard about the practice, tried it there, and is telling other people that this is how you summon a jinn.
Who the hell knows? I don't have any need at the moment to talk to a jinn, so I don't care.
^ My molvi saab said that they go to the graveyard to do this, so i guess he has done that himself as well...
my father was a doctor so he told me that there is nothing like being possessed and all its all in the mind even the different voice coming from one person is because of the human brain...but me and my mum still believe in such stuff...
my nani knew these people and their daughter was possessed - the jinn didnt want anyone else to come near him/her but let my nani keep a shawl on his/her feet...and someone has pious jinn in their house who used to wake them up by slapping them whenever they decided to leave a particular namaz just to sleep a little more.
I don't know about the voices. I've asked an epilepsy doctor about it recently - he sees pretty big volumes of patients - says he's never seen it nor heard of his colleagues seeing it.
But then again, when your daughter's voice all of a sudden sounds like a man's, would you take your kid to a doctor? Or to a maulvi?

Having auditory hallucinations is possible in epilepsy patients. It's also possibly if you have schizophrenia (or if you are schizoaffective), if you're bipolar in a psychotic episode, or even if you have depression. It can also be caused by tumors in the brain.
If I had a daughter, and her voice suddenly sounded like a mans, the first thing I'd think was... wtf. Then I'd try to think about wether or not there had been any significant trauma in her life, as she could have DID (disassociatve personality disorder, commonly referred to multiple personality disorder). It isn't common, but it's a real medical condition. People can seem like they're possessed, but they really just have multiple personalities.
Now, for jinn.. I've heard stories of people seeing jinn, etc. Usually pious people or people who have had a great fright. Only Allah knows what they truly see. I've had my moments (several, in fact), when I have heard/seen people/things that were not there, but then, I'm pagal :D
<-- knows a bit about psychology, and is considering (it's actually been part of a lifelong dream), to further her education into parapsychology.
near my nanas house in pk a woman was chained to the outside of her house just because her familly thought she was possesed. i remember one of the times this woman was allowed to go for a walk and she walked right past me. ive always considered myself to be a good judge of character and what i saw in this woman was a possiblity of bouts of anger and despair but no jinn, or even a 24/7 mental illness. she obviously didnt have much to live for although im sure this walk was one of her pleasures. for this particular woman to be diagnosed with being possesed and the way she was subsecuently treated was a tradegy. im sure this must have started as something minor such as the personality conditions martinee mentions. this woman has since died at a very young age due to the treatment at the hands of her familly. this superstition can have major impact on the way pakistanis deal with relevent issues. inshallah she finds jannat and pakistanis find civilisation.
the cemetry circle reading ritual is done to gain somesort of qualification i dont know which position it is. possibly peer and as far as i know its aim is not to talk to jinns. just bear it out in the cemetry whilst reading
I know someone who says that the jinn is in love with her - now thats scary... she always said that there was something or the other happening to her i.e. she used to tell me that she heard someone's voice whenever she went to the bathroom and someone knocked on her window and all but this is the most scariest thing i have ever heard. she said that whenever she sleeps at night someone kinda gives her a shock (jhatka) and that she has also talked to him like when she asked him if he was real he said that he was real and with her. she also said that she at times sees a little girl who has huge black eyes standing at her feet early in the mornings or late at nights...she also said that when she prays she feels that someone huge is standing behind her..i dont know what to say further...
^ Yea that is scary after i heard this i stopped going to her house - what scared me the most was the bathroom window and voice coming from outside because she lived on the 6th floor then when they moved they were on the 4th floor...so no one can do all the to scare her either..
