I request that we do not refer to Inzamam as “Aaloo”. It is a derogatory term coined by the non supporters of Pakistan team. It is no secret that Inzi himself does not like to be labled as a potato.
He is our national hero and has won many accolades for our country. He is a very fine human being as well and a wonderful ambassador of Pakistan. If we do not accord him the respect he deserves then we should not expect others to do so.
The “title” was given to him by a frustrated Indian supporter who could not bear the fact that we have a world class batsman who more often than not got the better of the Indian team, since his fellow countrymen could not do much about him on the field the guy resorted to cheap below the belt tactics.
I guess he had his reasons but what excuse do we have?
Let us respect and cherrish our national heroes and never refer to them in derogatory terms. They are the ones that make us proud and are responsible for flying our flag high in the comity of nations.
I agree... and not just for Inzi here.. as Muslims we should not be calling others with names that they dislike. Just as we would hate them who call us with names that we dislike...
Sure Inzi bhai, aap yahan GUPSHUP pe kya kar rahay hein???Ja k net practice karo aur Shoaib k liye dua karo .
Btw i agree, Inzi needs to be respected, he has given this country so much, i have never referred to him as Aaloo, motta or anything like that, we need to learn to respect our legends ( YES and EVEN Javed Miandad).
