Hey guppies! 
I am coming to vancouver on 1st of Jan inshallah for my Masters at UBC along with a friend. Unfortunately we missed out on the on campus housings so we need a place to crash in to when we land there. Tried responding to apartment ads in craigslist, kijiji, vancouver sun and amsrentsline but couldnt get a place finalized online 
So will really appreciate if anyone of you is willing to have us over for a day or two while we attend interviews for apartments. Better yet, it would be great if anyone of you has space for rent!

Congratulations on the admission to UBC - good going :k:
I remember talking to you last year about grad admissions and I’m glad it all worked out for you.
I don’t live in Vancouver but just wanted to suggest that you also contact student clubs such as the Pakistani Students Association and the Muslim Students Association.
It tends to be quite difficult initially to find student rentals if you’re an international student. Getting in touch with them before hand might help you.

I have alreay placed an advert on MSA and randomly contacted quite a few people at PSA but haven't had a response yet. Trying to get in touch with many people, the problem remains that I need a place to check into when I land there! :S
