Calling cards...

What the heck’s wrong with them?

The card that used to give me 267 minutes, is now only giving me 20 minutes…Same with the card that used to give me 2 1/2 hours talk time…

Latest info I have, is that it’s got something to do with the software in Pakistan…

Methinks, maybe 10% wasn’t enough last time, it’s time for more…Nomesayin’…?

Re: Calling cards...

Sir jee, just found out that none of the cards will be giving more than 20 minutes now...

Govt. Has put taxes and restrictions on international calling cards...

seems like the gas relief they are trying to set, will be set on the expense of immigrants necessities :)

Re: Calling cards...

According to Telecommunication Act XVII, call termination by any private service provider other than PTCL is illegal. CallMate and other companies, for years, took advantage of corrupt administration of PTA and PTCL and made mpney. In 2006 Etisalat took control of PTCL, and gradually closed all the back doors for this malpractice. Callmate ALONE owes around 5 Billion rupees in errors to PTCL. In short, buddy, the golden days of cheap calls to Pakistan are over.
