FYI:
I currently use PennyTime for calling home. A $2 card gives you 1 hour 40 minutes of talk time. Five bucks gets you 3 cards (which comes out even cheaper).
I’ve been using them for a while now and the call quality is quite consistent. Unfortunately, I don’t have any techie relatives in KHI, otherwise I would be using Skype
