Calling all UK bug lovers...

This is an offer you cant miss!

The RBA publishing group who produce collectors magazines have just realeased a new series and I got my first copy from WH Smiths just now.

Yes you can be the proud owner of a very fine collection of resin preserved bugs from spiders, to the Giant centipede and each comes with a full collour magazine, detailing each specimen and with excellent information.

If your a bug lover or just want your own collection of creepy crawlies you can pick up your issue from all good news agents and the first issue Includes a Manchurian Scorpion excellently preserved in clear plastic resin as certifeid by the National History Museuem.

The first issue of this magazine comes at a great price of just 99p! and for that money I was like a 15 year old again!

The ussual price is £5.99 but it’s well worth it if you love bugs and would like your very own private collection of rare and unnusual creepy crawly friends.

I am pleased with the first issue which has a two part magazine one that telles you about the whole series and what you can expect in the comming weeks, the other gives a detailed history of the Manchurian Scorpion as well as information about it’s cousins and where you can avoid them… :hehe:

Having handled the real thing many times… I slightly cringed at seeing the resin preserved verison but as an educational medium it’s very good and also lets you see the animal in a way you can’t with the live version.

I definately reccomend the series as worth reading and collecting for all fans of naturall science and killer bugs alike. :biggthumb:

I only know about the publishment in the UK not sure if RBA publish abroad as well but I would imagine since they are compettitors of international companies like D’Agostini that they would probabbly sell international copies too.

Re: Calling all UK bug lovers...

Thanks a lot for the info...I'd look for it. I've been buying a similar magazine on gems and rocks for the same price for nearly a year now.

Re: Calling all UK bug lovers…

^ Is that the Gemstones one published by D’Agostini I think it gives you a specimen sapmle with each issue last one was Garnet I think? :hmmm:

That too is a great Magazing

It is well worth collecting these becuase it’s not a huge amount of money and the reward as an educational tool is very good becuase it’s like a preserved library lets hope none of the creepy crawlies come alive… Jarrasic Park all over again. :hehe:
