what should a bride include in her shopping stuff when she is moving from karachi to dubai after rukhsati as the inlawas are settled in dubai
what type of dresses shud she include, so heavy/ semi-formal/ formal/ casual.
I will be moving to dubai in a couple of months after my rukhsati InshAllah…

Dubai is somewhat like Pakistan, you can wear your desi clothes , weather of Karachi and unaiz is almost same it is hot all the year round . It's nothing to do wth Dubai, make formal/ semi formal/ casual whatever you like

Not from Dubai, but have plenty of relatives living there. I see living in Dubai as an extension of Pakistan.
Will you be living with inlaws? If so, do you know what kind of a social life they have there? Very hectic, moderate? Will Western wear work for you, or all Pakistani attire?
Everyone I know in Dubai, gets their latest outfits from Pakistan, ie the lawns, heavy, formal, party wear. It is very, very hot in Dubai, no different from Karachi.

Thanks for productive replies. yes i will b living with In-laws, they are moderate, not too desi neither too western.
I wud heighly appreciate if i'll get an idea regarding what to shop for my wedding and what not. I dont really hav to take anything like house hold items. I just need to shop for my own stuff that comes in handy later on
