Up to now I’ve not really taken much care of myself except exercise, washing hair/body with soap, clipping nails, shaving and haircuts.
I don’t really know much about moisturisers, hair conditioners and stuff like that but I’m wondering if I should start taking proper care of myself.
Do you guys have any tips and routines I can follow?
Can someone recommend some brands that are suitable for men? I prefer everything to be the same brand, instead of different make shampoo, different shower gel etc.
I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now.
After I remove the icepack, I use a deep pore-cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser, then a honey-almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub.
Then I apply an herb mint facial masque which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine.
I always use an after-shave lotion with little or no alcohol because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing "protective" lotion...
Clinique do an excellent hair care and skin care range specifically for men. The packaging is boring and macho too so you won't have to hide it either.

Zak - it depends on how dry your skin is. Use your aftershave gel thing and wait for it to sink in. If your skin still feels dry then use some moisturiser.

u've been paying attention to "queer eye for the straight guy" show?
I think that is the best part. They really add a lot of value when they redo the interiors. The rest is ok. That guy Jai is so worthless. He adds like no value. He is just there to add to the queerness.
