Thank you all for making 2010 a great year for Life1 [most of the times] with all the useless and some useful threads, time-pass threads, gossipy threads, still wondering why- type threads, trollish threads and the totally made no sense type of threads.
Each one of you deserves some samosay and chai so let’s gather around the fireplace, and while Reha, Shak and Sahar roast some marshmallows for you all, and I fry up the samosay, why don’t you make some suggestions for us on how we can make Life1 a more enjoyable and worthwhile forum?! All suggestions are welcome.

Well to be honest I certainly hope half these stories are not true, because they are pretty horrible. Another suggestion would be a weekly thread explaining the Desi female mind and thought process.
Great. I got a question for you right now. This has actually been plaguing me for a few weeks. I was "involved" (we say that as it is as ambiguous as i can get) with a desi female. Now after a while we came to the realization that it wouldn't work so we reversed the relationship to that of friends. At that stage she proceeded to encourage me to talk to another girl who was lets say "attractive" and we got along well.
Now can someone explain to me why she would encourage me to seek out this other female when I wasn't even speaking to her in the first place and more so would get annoyed when I finally did start talking and hanging out her?
why not start one for art and craft, including kids craft ideas as well. one more thing that household forum is most of the time cooking forum actually. so why not make that seperate and make newone for household decore , including art and craft may be even sewing and emriodry.

Life 1 is by no means an adequate replacement for the He-man Woman Hater's club. Half the men here worry about what the context of their comments and think twice before they post.
Now the He-man Woman Hater's club could be a locked forum for men only. To prove your manhood you must do something extremely stupid like.....post a picture of your buddy in the shower and it will allow boys to be boys.
Naseeb used to be or still is this desi website where random people log onto find a mate. The thing is that it transitioned to a hook up location. From all the stories I have heard, you would chat up a guy or gal (yes it is a very liberal desi website), meet up, hook up for they were up for it and move on.
The idea I had was not to pair up guys and gals. But rather potential Mother in Laws with Daughter in Laws. That way Life 1 provides an awesome service and my original request for less Mother in Law threads is also solved.
I don’t think we have MIL type candidates yet. [At least no one will admit] Lots of DILs though.
So, forget about the MIL threads. This is a problem that has been in our culture since ages and will remain there forever!! Nothing can be done about it.
Maybe we should do a Ask Jameel and Jameela type thread with quick questions and quick responses…we can appoint a new guppy/guppan [a male and female] each week to answer all questions…that will give a different flavor and 2 perspectives for each answer. What say?
I say yes. As long as none of the questions have to deal with Mother in Laws. Well in the case of the Naseeb idea what we do is get Mother in Laws to register on the forum. Their sons or daughters can act like the secretaries and they can pursue daughter in laws in the modern age.
But imagine the potential for entertainment and amusement if a few Mother in Laws were registered? It would be a bigger match than Hulk Hogan against Ric Flair.
