^I had already started typing this typ and then I scrolled up and saw that you listed it, 
. That’s exactly how I apply my eyeliner…with my eyes open. And I think it does make the application look better. I prefer a thin line as opposed to a thicker/fatter one just because it looks more natural and subtle…and I’ve received several compliments on my eyeliner.
Sometimes I use lip liner instead of lipstick to color my lips. I don’t know if this would be considered a tip…but I think it looks neater, more well defined, and makes your lips appear fuller…especially if you use a pinkish-brown or nude color.
