well we have to start from somewhere rite? why not from pakistan then? governments hardly suffer from sanctions.however when ppl suffer they take matters into their own hands and thats wht required in this situation. put sanctions on pakistan. make people suffer. bring them out into the street and protest. sanctions will do one of the two things

either they'll get rid of mushy
or
they'll stand behind him to get rid of terrorists.

I am fairly certain that those calling for sanctions are sitting outside of Pakistan. Yes, it takes real courage to screw over your fellow Pakistani countrymen by calling for sanctions.

very good idea but unfortunately it won't happen. USA will not impose any sanctions on pakistan bcos its not interested in finding a solution. as long as pakistan is willing to butcher its civilians for higher grades and money, USA wil keep it in its good books.

I believe it's better to say the "US Government" as the the current government doesn't represent the sentiments of vast majority of people. Call your senator /congressman..at least to get the point across.

Just saw it on tv Holland suspends all aids to Pakistan. EU is expected to follow with strong sanctions.

Please call your local member of parliament, congressman, senator and ask them to call for crippling sanctions against the military regime of Pakistan for imposing Martial Law in the Western. This is your patriotic duty to liberate a nation which has been persecuted and tormented for many decades by the ruthless thuggery of the Pakistani Armed Forces. What's happening now in Pakistan is far worse than Burma; complete denial of justice through imposition of bogus judiciary, abnegation of basic rights, mass disappearance of political party workers and lawyers, and denial of access to free press and media; all in the name of keeping armed forces' iron grip on power.The situation is literally hopeless. Until and unless this regime is held accountable for its callous and ruthless actions, Pakistan will continue to descend into chaos.

So you have switched from calling for destruction and death of Pakistan and Pakistanis, you switched to calling for sanctions now?
