Guys,how do you serve the cake to guests?do you place spoon and fork both in serving plate or put only fork to eat the cake?

Just a small dessert fork is fine. What would they need the spoon for?

Fork in individual plates but I do put some dessert spoons separately cos there are people like my husband who don't like to eat with fork at all.

i have seen people serving cake with both fork and spoon in serving plate.
would it make you a well mannered hostess if you put fork and spoon both?
