Before I spend hours cursing Google for not helping me, does anyone have a good easy peasy reciepe for cake pops?

Vanilla flavoured, covered in milk chocolate with multicoloured strands?

Also, how do you store them? Where do I stick the sticks so that the chocolate can set?

And, how to present them? I would need to make them a day in advance and I dont want them to have that dry cake taste. Cling film sounds wrong.

I LOVE cake pops! Just bake a box cake mix, crumble the cake and mix pre-made frosting into it. Then roll them into balls. Take the sticks and dip them into chocolate and then insert them into the cake balls, once they are all done put them in the freezer for a good amount of time so they set and aren’t soft. Once they set, take the stick with the cake ball attached and roll it into the melted chocolate and decorate as you please. Then let the chocolate set again.

The best way to store them is by inserting the stick side into styrofoam.

The last time I made them I used a glass with marbles in it to present them…I’m sure you could figure something else out, this was honestly the hardest part in making sure they looked good.
