is anyone else, other than MehnazQ and myself, into cake decorating?
I am going through a crazy phase where i want to quit my job and start decorating cakes.. not that i know anything beyond buttercream and its doable things…
I am soooo eager to learn how to do sugar fairies right now.. and little cake or cupcake toppers..
i thought if anyone else is into this.. why not open a thread with ideas and recipes.. i would sooooooo love that!

I would love to open my own cake and bookshop one day. That would be awesome.
I like decorating cakes but cake toppers do not float my boat.
I like making different icings, using caramel to make different shapes to put on cakes, chocolate leaves etc.

I am so infatuated with this thanks to Mehnaz.
I was always interested in cake decorating but never found the time to take it up as a hobby.
I think the time has come!

i would LOVE to open up my own business... but it'd have to wait till hebz was a bit older..
dildirani... ive just gotten into making figurines... i made fairies for the first time ever on monday, one turned out pretty scary. And not as nice as i would have liked... i tried making a small bear yesterday.. he turned out cute. I will take pics and put them up...
All i dream about these days is decorating cakes... no kidding. and this is all thanks to Mehnaz hehe

i LOVE cake decorating and baking too!
its so fun and creative! my kitchen is too small otherwise i would for sure take it up. i've done a few birthday cakes now and i'm quite proud of them, if i do say so myself!

lets see a few examples! i want to see what you girls have done, and sadzzz, if that's what you want, try it out on a part-time basis maybe to test the market and figure out pricing so that its worth your time and effort, and of course to hone your skills and spread the word that you're available. it'll be fun!

yeah i think im gonna start by making cakes for my fam first.... they are the biggest critiques.. so lets see :)
