I always tell people, who’re doing last minute cakes, to go with cake mixes. You can’t go wrong with them. I prefer Betty Crocker’s Devil’s food.
I follow the recipe on the back but make some changes. Replace water with milk, oil with butter. Add an extra egg. Add 2 tbsp of sour cream. 1 packet of instant chocolate pudding. Add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder.
You’ll have the yummiest, moistest chocolate cake! Pour some chocolate ganache on top and people will be raving about it
