Cake cutting - shadi vs. valima

So I was going to do a cake cutting thing at both the shadi and the valima, and now I think that may look dumb. Two cakes on two events within a day of each other? When do people usually cut it? I’ve seen it done at shadi & I’ve seen it done on the valima. I have my cake appointment this week and don’t know if I should cancel sigh lol

Walimas are pretty bland without any interesting rasms so do it then.

^ yeah I've usually seen them done on valimas for that reason too.

I even bought a nice silver plated cake cutting set ha ha. I guess fiance could use it at his event. I'll probably cancel my cake appointment tomorrow.

Do you guys live in the same community? If not the you can still do it at both. Actually, most of the weddings I've been to have had them at both...no one will say no to wedding cake lol.

I've always seen it done on the shaddi. I think it is very fitting since you just became husband and wife. I also did mine at the shaddi.

Thanks guys - SO and I are going to have pretty much the same people both days!! But let's see. Will keep you posted. I don't want shadi day to have 10 things and then nothing on valima.
