First of all, thank you everyone for posting your questions for our mehman, Muqawwee123!!
I know it is a bit late but whenever muqawwee’s ready, The answer for the questions will be given in this thread. From all of us in Cafe (especially the mod team), thank you muqawwee! :flower1:
Before joining GS, I was making my account on Youtube. was searching for some of Muhammad Qawi Khan’s dramas at that time, so from ‘Muhammad Qawi Khan’ Muqawwee’ came into my mind. The account was not available so I added 123.
Afterwards, when I joined GS, I kept same id to easily remember it.
If you are asking for a political party, then saare tut painay nikamme hain. Not happy with any of the current parties and don’t see any improvement if same people and parties remain in picture.
There have been many moments. Like when last year, we were doing ‘Bait Bazi competition’ in teams, and finally ehsan uncle’s team won, I enjoyed reaction from our team members
I’ve learnt a lot from all the posters. Made some good friends. With the passage of time, my perception about some posters also changed. I’ve learnt to listen to opposite views without being harsh.
In search of PTV classic plays, I came across thread ‘PTV dramas since 1960s’ started by Raju uncle. Afterwards, I only contributed it in that thread for almost 5-6 months. My next forum (where I started posting regularly) was PA and that was just after Zulfiqar Mirza’s statement. The crowd was hostile, but at that time my tone was also harsh, so there were phaddas.. My posts were moved, but I never got warning or infraction during those discussions.
I started posting in Arts forum after one year of my posting. UZ aapa and ehsan uncle appreciated my choice of poetry and after two-three months, UZ aapa asked me to join as Poetry Mod. My question was as usual (we all ask before saying Yes for Modship), ‘Mujhe karna kia hoga?’
I think people relate to things and issues discussed in these forums. Folklore, myths, historical controversies are popular in all cultures and IMO that is not specific to Pakistan / subcontinent. People live Cultures, love their language, so when they are provided with a platform to share their views, their experiences, their observations, they do it with pleasure.
As per my observation, Pakistanis who got access to online sites do contribute in such discussions. There are so many sites to discuss political matters and you will always find resident Pakistanis expressing their views. Those who don’t have access to online forums, do talk of politics. I’ve heard peons in my office discussing political issues, even ladies at home do discuss these issues.
I see it as a blessing that we got rid off from such people. It may be their personal choice, but then they lose right to criticize those who face the show while living in Pakistan.
Generalisation on the basis of what you experienced doesn’t make someone’s view as authentic. Every society, every culture got good and bad people, so such views should not be taken seriously.
‘Yes’ and ‘No’ both. Yes, because one can’t guess everything about Pakistani, their problems, their feelings while siting in their comfort zones. On other hand, Pakistani people have portrayed themselves weak and eligible for the treatment they meet by choosing same people again and again. People don’t raise their voice against system, they just follow system on the context ‘chalta hai, chalne do’.
I found this exercise futile, though I do visit PA when I want to increase my blood pressure
own the culture without compartmentalization of religion and ethnicity.
tackle the inferiority complex we have about our culture and languages by telling people that we are no behind any civilization in the world.
promotion of local heroes and portraying invaders in proper way.
We need to promote cottage industry which promotes local arts and there should be some rules and regulations (properly implemented) that can stop exploitation of workers in those industries from intermediaries.
treat all languages with equality. There should be no forceful imposition of a language, which turns people against such language.
regional languages (mother tongue) should be medium of instructions at least at primary level. I personally found this helpful as my medium of instruction till class 10th was Sindhi.
We should promote harmony between different languages and one way to introduce works of one regional language to speakers of other regional language is to work on similarities (syntax, common vocabulary of such language).
Pakistan all regional languages got treasure of literature, that should be translated into Urdu, so that other people can enjoy it.
Done
Its a safe place. people at gross root level doesn’t bother who you are. Its just bloody politicians that create hatred between people. There are many Punjabi speaking people, I have interacted in Karachi and they feel home at Karachi. same is the situation with people from other ethnicity.
jo Amma bana de. I used to say this when I was asked this. But now my Amma say ‘ab mere hath ka khana acha nahin lagta’
Nothing particular. I’m not choosy for food… jo mil jae kha leta hoon.. loki, gobhi, tinday bhi khane paRte hai… aap ne saare sawal dil dukhane wale kiye hain
Don’t like both of these.. but if choice to be made then Paratha Kabab
never been out of Pakistan. In Pakistan, cities from all 4 provinces.

Meri dictioanry kho gai hai
None. I don’t like both of them. During office meetings / meeting with a client, I lately started asking them for green tv… Last month, my boss was indirectly advising me to have something during meetings. As per him, its the natural duration of a meeting (time between ordering tea, coffee, etc and having it)
Color doesn’t matter. dil sohna hona chaiye. waise sanwali ya kaali ka ye faida hai ke unhe time aane pe chiRaya ja sakta hai..
