“While shooting for Ek Tha Tiger, Salman Khan and the gang used to frequent a certain Cafe Del-Mar in the Turkish city of Mardin. It was your regular run of the mill cafe until Sallu had his way with it. His inputs on the decor, the music, right down to its food and beverages transformed the place altogether. The new Cafe Del-Mar was renamed Salman Khan Cafe. Director of Ek Tha Tiger, Kabir Khan says “The music system wasn’t very good so Salman sent someone to get a better one. After the shoot, he left the sound system there”. This is one act of generosity the locals of Mardin will not forget.”
