I think you should chose people that:
1. Have the time to come on GupShup on a daily basis
2. People who have common sense
3. Can write in English
4. People who won't let being a Mod go to their head
5. People who have a certain maturity and are able to make decisions based on sound principles and not personal whims
6. People who preferably have a sense of humour
7. People who have been on GupShup for a certain length of time.
8. People who have a decent number of posts here

How about that as a start.

P.S Phatima is doing a good job.

In the interview you should add a bit of roleplay.....Its always works for me...in fact I think I get more information from the roleplay than the interview itself.
