You guys should get the panties out of a bunch. The difference between cable & dsl and peak times an unpeak are pretty much negligible. If you are trying to download a huge file (e.g. a cd iso) then its going to take forever if u have a T1 so u'd just learn to accept it.
Just go with the cheapest broadband available. What's a few 100 kbps between friends.
