i also had a separate notebook for homework and a separate one for class work. bought from school ofcourse 
and they had to be neat. NEAT! so had to invest in a good eraser and pencil, and when we finally upgraded to pens (
) in a good (eagle) pen and that white out pen thingy. oh my that was cool!
