hey girls.. i had a c sector had for the first time. it was type of kinda needed during my delivery. i been home with my baby for over 6 days today MashAllah…but i keep getting lenking type water pinkish discharge from outside of there they had sew me up… i told my midwife . she say its nornmal…but i have a follow up with her tommorrow ill look betteer once she will move it up,any ideas or reply pleaseeee

Its C-Section btw.
No clue how things work in C-Section. I guess if your care taker is sayings its normal then it is normal.

Congratulations! My prayers are always with you. I hope the birth wasn't too distresstful for you or your baby. What did you name your son?

I had a c-section but I did not have any discharge in the stitches if thats what you are saying. The sticthes were bandaged up when I was in the hospital and after they removed the stitches and I went home, even then I do not remember having any discharge in that area. There was some itching but nothing else. Sorry cannot give any help here.

I had a c-section and there was no discharge from my incision either. It cab happen sometimes so the doctor can prescribe some kind of ointment etc. But do get checked up for any possible infection

yeah... it was from moving around alot... its normal and it doesnt look inflection my midwife told me. im trying to rest more....im healing prettty good.. we named our son bilal.. hes doing well by the grace of Allah... everything is normal with him.. MashAllah hes 7.4 pounds .. <<<<spiral ... im just really happy everything is fine....

Discharge from the stitch area is not normal..it indicates infection and inflamation...after the bandage is removed the stitch line remains dry..so go to a doctor ..we might probably be on antibiotics already..she will prescribe you anti inflammatory as well..clean the wound twice daily with spirit swab or pyodine..and maintain a good hygiene and Congrats on being a mother:))
