Re: C-section

Hey BV...Don;t worry everything will turn out fine Inshalla...Abt C section being easier well it seems easier for sure but it has little longer recovery time than normal birth procedure if all went well...which it will in ur case...inshalla. I just gave birth to my baby girl 2 weeks ago...i was scared in start but u know wht when time comes Allah Himmat Dayta hai...It in mom's nature that she finds the courage from inside...ofcourse with the will of God. Take me i had normal delivery but for certain reasons my recovery is taking longer than C-section...wht i 'm trying to say is that dun't worry ur swelf much just relax and let the nature takes it course and listen to ur doctor ...more u'll ask around ...more differnt answers and opinions u;ll hear...and u;l get confuse and worried. If you are a person who like to read wht will happen next than go to baby centre web site. U'll Know.

Rest things will turn out fine...Inshalla...Baby will Inshalla take right position...if not than c-Section is not bad just it requires more rest after delivery.

Re: C-section

You will be fine. Go in with a positive attitude and it will help you heal better and faster. Yes, this is a major surgery and not to be taken lightly but recovery time is not as long as many expect it to be. They will start to make you walk within a day after surgery.

As long as baby and mother are healthy, doesn't matter c-section or vaginal delivery. Good Luck and Pray that Allah makes it a worthwhile experience.

Re: C-section

Recite surah Maryam these days and have faith in yourself and Allah. InshaAllah you will be totally fine. we are praying for u:)

Re: C-section

For c section recovery time is a little longer. But you should go to the hospital with confidence and feeling that inshallah every thing will be alright. And believe me when you think positive, things WILL be alright. :)
And do let us know what happens.

Re: C-section

OH MY GOD, what the hell does sura maryam have to do with any of this. I wish people would stop being ignorant.

Re: C-section

hey blushing_vision, c-sections are VERY common now, inshallah you will be just fine. My wife does 2-3 sections a day, says they're remarkably uncomplicated.

Re: C-section

can u explain what reciting Surah mryam has to do with ignorance!!!:hoonh:

it is good for a muslim woman to recite surah maryam during pregnancy i did n i am not IGNORANT!!!
neway BV C section is nothing to worry about!!!
it just might be difficult to do things immediately with baby liek reach out for it all the time etc…
but Inshallah u will be fien and just enjoy the moment when ur baby is born:)

Re: C-section

Why surah maryam in particular? Where does it say that it is good for a Muslim woman to read surah maryam when she’s pregnant? It’s good for a muslim man or woman to read any part of the quran any time. It doesn’t have to be a pregnant woman and it doesn’t have to be surah maryam. That’s the ignorant part. I don’t know where y’all hear these things, recite this at this time, recite taht at that time. Just read the quran everyday and you’ll be ok, don’t innovate.

Re: C-section

Reciteing Surrah Maryam during pregancy is preferrable for pregnant lady becuause Hazrat Maryam during her pregnany asked for Allah's help and blessings to grant her courage during this difficult process and she was informed of ways to seek Allah by messanger and also told that Allah will make things easy for her and she was told to worrship Allah during her pregancy and believe in His Wisdom and He will help her during the process and even afterwards.

So being muslims we believe in Allah & Quran ..Al-hamdulillah.. and its teachings for sure and we merely try to follow what noble and blessed people of Allah did centuries ago ...coz today's insaan can only TRY to do what Nayk people of Allah did earlier, to prosper in life. Its the belief along with effort and act that counts. So it has nothing to do with ignorance just belief and faith in Allah and his teachings.

Rest we agree Allah Is The Greatest.

Re: C-section

AshKhan, so the question then is, did Maryam read Surah Maryam when she was pregnant? Obviously NOT. Then how is reading Surah Maryam doing what Maryam did when she was pregnant.

Secondly, what Maryam did was worship GOd and ask for HIs help, shouldn’t that be what pregnant women do? I’m not saying that someone should NOT read surah Maryam, I’m just saying that there is no special power in Surah Maryam for pregnant women. The entire Quran has special power for all, not just for pregnant women. By saying that pregnant women should specially read surah Maryam, you are distinguishing one surah from others on false basis.

Next people will start saying that tall people should read such and such surah, fat people should read such and such, short people should read such and such. All fabrications. The whole Quran is special to the whole world. Don’t distinguish parts of the Quran and don’t distinguish its audience.

By the way, the only thing that makes surah Maryam different from other chapters is that it has the highest number of initials in the first verse.

Re: C-section

I totally agree with you no doubt whole Quran itself is powerful...but i'm sure you will agree different Surrah came via messangers for differet occasion i mean when particular events happened and Allah wise people asked for guidance and help than Allah sent these surrah for guidance. And that is how each surrah or ayat carry its own meanings and values, for being related to particulae event. I am not saying JUST read Surrah Maraym during Pregnancy...NO....read it along with rest of the Quran ...tat doesn;t mean read it in one go...read it slowly especially if possible with meaning to undersatnd its power more and also for guidance. Its just that its related to that particular event of woman being pregnant...tats why people read it more as a gesture and symbolism so that Allah bless them with same blessings like He blessed Hazrat Maryam...Again dun'ttake me wrong...its just that Quran nazil hoa in parts according to events that were happening in the life of Prophets at that time...so people try to narrate particular situation with that particular Surrah which came for guidance at that time, they just try to seek comfort in difficult situation from Quran wehter reading by reading whole Quran or by reading particular Surrah...As long as people read it with pure heart ad mind to seek guidance and knowledge by reading translation along so that words could bring sense to them ...all is fine.

Re: C-section

^^^ thankyou ashkhan!!!!
n aahmed it wasn't only me who read the surah during pregnancy but my husband did too...........

Re: C-section

Not at all...:)

Re: C-section

Ashkhan - can you provide a daleel for this type of action? Meaning, is there any authentic hadith that the Prophet Salallahu-alayi wa-Salam said regarding the blessing to pregnant women if they read Surah Maryam (Radhiallahu Anha). I agree with Aahmed that this is a type of innovation that people have created just like many others that may seem Islamically right, but have no authentic sunnah to back it up.
The Prophet (s) said, "He who innovates something in this matter of ours that is not of it will have it rejected." He also said, "Beware of innovations, for every innovation (kullu bid`a) is misguidance."

Re: C-section

agreed.

Re: C-section

As i mentioned earlier that every Surrah came for particular event...as far as daleel is concern ....i would suggest that you read Surrah with translation and tafseer...u'l come to know that Surrah and Quran itself is a daleel that Allah has blessed us and shown us path and its only upto us how we take and acknowledge His teachings and how we preceive His message and wht we derive from it...by reading Surrah Maryam its just symbol of submission to Allah's teachings and acceptance of His miracle that He has shown to world through Maryam ...proving that He is the Creator of this world and what ever goes in it coz of His Will. By reading Surrah we symbolise that we believe in wht was told in Surrah and event that took place because of Allah's Will so we ask Allah for the same blessing that he has shown on Maryam in her difficult time when she reached for His blessings...she was blessed.

Plus if you say about something that it is islamically right...than i say Quran is islam and Surrah Maryam is part of it...and its been related to event of pregnancy by Quran ...

Presently i do not have a reference of Hadith for you...but i'l def try to find one..besides Islam is about submission and belief. As we believe in Allah because Quran tells us..So we believe what Quran tells and wht it narrates to us as it was narrated to wise people of Allah by His messangers.

Re: C-section

Blushing .... one of the things that you should also be aware is the percentage of infections post surgery... In USA, there is a chance of 15 percent to have infections ... I wouldn't get into the details of what infections and etc ... BUT, if you are in USA, try to go the best hospital... and bigger a hospital; where theoritically chances of infections are lesser... BUT again there is no hard and fast rule ...
