Can this folder be broken up in two or more folders? I would like to see a folder for ONLY job postings and nothing else. Anothers also needed for more specific purposes. I am sure something like this would possible.
sorry for not having seen this thread earlier, but I was actually thinking along the same lines jannu... or sort of - for now, I'm working to consolidate all job postings into a thread and writing up a standard operating procedure for submitting postings.
Needless to say, jannu, since you're in main contributor of job postings, all of your posts will be contained there-in.
For us to start thinking about a sub-forum, we need to develop a a critical mass of job postings on C&A - unfortunately, we're not there yet... but soon enough inshaAllah.
Good idea umar, but if you have it all in one thread, it will be different to categorize them and tiresome to read. I mean maybe have different threads for different type of job openings (engineering, marketing etc)?
Spock - yes... that can be done... for now, I was thinking about the single sticky thread with updates and interested people can read those updates.
I will however look into coming up with a job typology, and again, we'd have to start with the most commonly posted job categories.

I am part of several yahoo groups and one in Texas is blessed with people who look out for Muslims and post jobs there for Muslims. I forward the same to my "main" group... :)
Umer, does there need to be a critical mass? There may need to be if lest the folder stagnates. Now that I have been "awakened" in the last few months, I have become more atuned to the fact that I need to act more then discuss our conditions. Anyways.... thanks for helping and considering the idea.
