Pakistan Tehreek-e-Internet :k:By the numbers: Pakistan politics online

**Are 20 million online Pakistanis worth the time and effort it takes to build a winning web presence? Most political parties don’t think so, or possibly they have no idea how to actually do it.
**
A quick glance online reveals the wide disparity between the major political players. The 2013 elections may have them thinking differently now.
The online presence of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and its emergence as the third largest party in Pakistan may not be altogether unrelated. The online landscape may very well be changing given the reality of the PTI’s success.

Re: By the numbers: Pakistan politics online

Only if elections were held on FB and Twitter :)

Anyway, PTI has given political parties a good run for their money as now they cannot ignore virtually anything online or on ground.

Re: By the numbers: Pakistan politics online

The online scene was dominated by MQM till about 4 years ago. No wonder MQM people are crying the most about shoshal media these days, not knowing that most of those 'trolls' are 'freelance' individuals abusing everyone on their own accord and not part of a 'disciplined social media team'.

Re: By the numbers: Pakistan politics online

Re: By the numbers: Pakistan politics online

Its note fake, this looser was trying to pose as a "youth leader" a week ago, asking "youth" to send him a tweet with word "yes" if they wanted to join him in a protest at "D Chowk, Islamabad" to lift the ban from YouTube in Pakistan. And a guy said "Sir, we can only send Lanat on you" and this duffer even retweeted that
