If you were talking about rural voters than there could be some sense but here you are talking about Karachi where people have free will and are educated and are willing to oppose what they do not like and is the only city that stood Ayub Khan or Bhutto (even though in 71 election they mostly voted PPP). I know people who have had to sell their houses privately or have to pay extortion for running NGO schools to MQM guys. I am not sure how MQM followers can ignore these things. The instances of peoples votes cast before they reach their polling stations, or collection of ID cards are not 'just allegations'.

Bhai jaan .. I have no such news and thus consider that propaganda ... but then, I cannot say that what I have not heard could not be true ... so, no problem. Consider voters of Karachi as notorious and leave them live their life ... but that also you can only say once people of Karachi get their mandate respected ... and that can only happen if they would get power to police themselves, power to administer, govern and rule themselves.

Saddam Hussain even if got elected through done referendum, it was held under his own controlled military ... but MQM get votes regardless of who is holding election and is in charge of that election ... and fact is that, MQM wins with 80 to 90 percent cast votes most of the time.

As for bugging those who do not vote them, that is propaganda too ... and if it was not propaganda than MQM would not be winning people from other parties ... like ANP second in command (Qadir Khan) in Karachi joined MQM ... and PPP most influential MNA (Nabil Gabol) from Karachi also joined MQM. ... if MQM was bugging their opponents then this would not have happened. :)

You can replace "military" with "activists" who push ROs, election officials around, lock them up to do what they want and you have the result "80-90% cast votes for MQM.
PMLN has won the recount by increasing their lead by 70 votes. But once again this morning some bags went missing and POs did not report back.
PTI is its own enemy at times. It should have pushed for a thumb verification or should have protested or stopped the recount when polling bags went missing. ROs would have not left any stone unturned to save their skin. Now PTI has no choice but to push for electoral reforms now so that these glaring holes in this manual electoral process are identified and removed.

Why he won? Mindset. Pmln has never lost in PP150/NA121, people have always voted for Pmln no matter the candidate.
For the first time in history, JUIF lost NA 25. This is just amazing. Its not a PTI victory alone.. credit goes to faisal kundi of ppp for withdrawing so that dawar kundi gets whole vote of kundi tribe. But still quite astonishing that yahoodi lobby won against Fazlu.
