Unemployment undermines the economic and social stability of Indian society.
Over the next decade some millions of Indians will be 18 and younger. If these young Indians are not educated or given job opportunities they would be forced into the cities that will become even more overcrowded and violent-prone; facing poor job prospects; and adrift amidst a society rife with increasingly radical movements like the Maoist movemet, the makings of a perfect storm are being put in place. What can be done to prevent this volatile mixture from blowing up?
I hope Indians awake and put the country in the right direction. Young Indians need challening opportunities to succeed.
Agreed. Unchecked growth spells doom if opportunities do not keep pace with it.
