People from as far as Taxila, Wah Cantt, and Hazara District KP work there. All these areas are around 50 kms from the capital.

I think there are two reasons, firstly GHQ (Rawalpindi) :p, and secondly I believe he was from Abbotabad (100 kms away) or Haripur (50 kms away). :)

I used to go to defence college and my college van had to make it's way through this posh area , in the early hours of the morning you could see people coming out of these big houses ready for office accompanied by their drivers:)

Not easy to get there though, its surrounded by mountains. This could be another reason to move the capital.

Security, a big push from Gujarat could have created problems for the city. Not much population too between Indian border to the city.

Islamabad is located in the mountains, so not too easy to approach. big population centers there which could act as buffers, and then the army headquarter is there.

lols. aunties ki fajr us waqt hoti hai, jis waqt hamari sepehar hoti hai. I went there in different timings, but didn't find ronaq. To me, they like seclusion
